04. Method and system of affixing a plaque to a solid surface [ US11841039 ] :

A method and system of affixing a plaque to a solid surface is provided. The method includes the steps of providing at least one opening in a face of the solid surface and inserting a plaque support into the at least one opening. The plaque support includes a body defining a passageway therethrough and having a first end and a second end. The first end has a flange portion. Further, at least one outer tab member extends radially outward toward the first end and at least one inner tab member extends radially inward toward the second end. The outer tab member engages the solid surface upon insertion of the plaque support into the at least one opening. The method and system further include providing the plaque with at least one installation fastener. The at least one installation fastener is inserted into the passageway of the plaque support, such that the at least one inner tab member engages the at least one installation fastener.

02. Anti-loosening metallic externally threaded fastener [ US11835080 ] :

[Solution] An anti-loosening metallic male screw according to the present invention is to be engaged with a female screw for a metric screw, and is characterized in that the cross-sectional shape of the thread bottom of the metallic male screw is formed into a flat shape in which a non-pressurized flank side thereof is parallel to the axis of the male screw, is formed into a shape in which a pressurized flank side thereof is sloped toward the pressurized flank side with respect to an extension line of the flat part, and the outer diameter and the effective radial size of the metallic male screw are smaller than the reference sizes of the metric screw.

 

03. Screw [ US11835077 ] :

A screw includes a head having a top face and a conical bottom surface, a shank, and thread convolutions. A chip guiding channel is recessedly formed on the conical bottom surface. On the conical bottom surface are spirally disposed a cutting portion which has a plurality cutting units sequentially arranged in a spiral manner, thereby allowing the chip guiding channel to be surrounded by the cutting units along a spiral track. The spiral arrangement of the cutting units assists the head in cutting fibers of a workpiece which are wound around the head into small chips in a continuous and spiral severing manner to reduce drilling torque and resistance, and the spirally-defined chip guiding channel also facilitates a smooth removal of the chips, thereby allowing the head to fit level with a top surface of the workpiece and increasing a fastening effect.

The fastener may include an arcuate detent region in the shank between respective turns of the thread, the detent region having a length, the length decreasing from the first end toward the second end between the respective turns. The fastener may include a plurality of flutes positioned along a length of the shank.
